Get in touchYour local beauty specialists
When your salon is five minutes away, keeping up your lashes, brows and skin stops being a production. That convenience, plus results that hold up, is why N21 stays loyal.
A bit of local character
Winchmore Hill still feels like the Middlesex village it once was, built around a green mound at its heart. The Edwardian housing boom that followed the 1907 tramway turned a quiet hamlet into the neighbourhood you see today, with a strong community feel that draws regulars to our salon from all over N21 and Grange Park.
Historic landmarks
Grovelands Park and House. Built in 1797 by the celebrated architect John Nash, with grounds laid out by Humphry Repton. The mansion served as a WWI military hospital before becoming the private clinic it is today, and the surrounding park remains one of the most peaceful green spaces in north London.
The Quaker Meeting House. Dating from 1688 and rebuilt in 1790, the quiet burial ground here holds Luke Howard, the man who named the clouds. His Cumulus, Stratus and Cirrus classification system is still taught in every primary school today.
Getting to us from Winchmore Hill
Winchmore Hill Station opened in 1871 on the Great Northern line. Before that, the only way out was a horse-drawn bus to central London. From the station today, we are a quick 5 to 10 minute drive down to Baker Street, or you can pick up the W9 or 329 bus straight into Enfield Town.
Did you know?
In 1621, local resident Elizabeth Sawyer was executed for witchcraft after a neighbour accused her of cursing his cattle. The trial became so notorious it inspired the Jacobean play The Witch of Edmonton, which is still performed today.
Why our regulars make the trip
Worth the five minutes
Being this close means N21 clients treat their lashes and brows as routine, not an occasion, booked around a school run or a Saturday morning rather than planned weeks out. Ayse or Deniz handles every appointment personally, so the convenience never costs you the standard.
Off the Great Northern line before your appointment? Train air is more drying on skin and lashes than people expect. A hydrating lash serum after your visit keeps a fresh lift or set looking its best for longer.
Your appointment day
- Leave Winchmore Hill 5–10 minutes before your slot, by car or on the W9 or 329.
- Park up nearby or step off the bus a short walk from Baker Street.
- Arrive a little early. There's always time for a cup of tea before we start.
- Your treatment begins, unhurried, with the same specialist from start to finish.

Lash extensions and lash lifts are the regular fixtures, with Biorepeel facials a strong favourite because there's no downtime and the salon is close enough to visit in a lunch hour. Laser hair removal courses do well here too, since the short trip makes repeat sessions easy.
