Cockfosters has the countryside on its doorstep but not, as many of our EN4 regulars tell us, a salon they truly trust. That's why they make the ten-minute drive down the A111 to Baker Street for laser hair removal, powder brows, lash extensions, lip blush and facials, and have done for over 10 years.

Laser packages and semi-permanent makeup are what EN4 clients travel to us for most. Big treatments deserve a specialist you can trust, and with 850+ five-star reviews between Ayse and Deniz, the short trip from Cockfosters earns its keep every time.

About Cockfosters

A bit of local character

Cockfosters marks the very end of the Piccadilly line and the point where London suburbia gives way to the countryside of Hertfordshire. The 1933 tube extension transformed open farmland into classic Metroland in just a few years, but the green space of Trent Country Park still gives the area a real edge of the rural.

Historic landmarks

Trent Country Park and House. 413 acres of woodland, lakes and former parkland. Sir Philip Sassoon owned the house in the 1920s and 30s, hosting weekend parties for Charlie Chaplin, Winston Churchill, and the future King Edward VIII. Today it is one of the best places in north London for a long walk.

Cockfosters Tube Station. Another Charles Holden masterpiece from 1933, this time with a low, minimalist concrete train shed that feels almost Scandinavian. The platforms sit beneath a single curved roof with daylight pouring in from above, and it has barely been altered since it opened.

Getting to us from Cockfosters

Cockfosters is the northern terminus of the Piccadilly line. Before opening in 1933, the proposed name was actually Trent Park. From here, we are about a fifteen minute drive down to Baker Street, or you can take the 384 bus which runs into Enfield Town.

Did you know?

The unusual name dates back to at least 1524 and comes from the Old English for Chief Forester, the official who managed the king's woods and protected the deer on Enfield Chase. During WWII, Trent Park House secretly housed captured German generals as a luxurious prisoner-of-war camp. The British had bugged every room, and the recorded conversations turned into some of the war's most valuable intelligence.

Why our regulars make the trip

Worth the drive

Cockfosters has plenty of places for a quick tidy-up, but laser, powder brows and SPMU need real training, not just confidence. Ayse is PhiAcademy-certified and every course is run by her or Deniz personally, never a trainee. That's what our EN4 regulars are actually paying the ten-minute drive for.

Travelling on the Piccadilly Line before your appointment? The air conditioning on those trains is notoriously drying. A hydrating lash serum on the journey home helps your lift or extensions hold their shape for longer.

Your appointment day

  1. Leave Cockfosters 10–15 minutes before your slot by car, or catch the 384 into Enfield Town.
  2. Park up nearby (there's on-street parking a short walk from Baker Street) or step off the bus.
  3. Arrive a few minutes early. There's always time for a proper cup of tea before we start.
  4. Your treatment begins, unhurried, with the same specialist from start to finish.
